Lynffield was divided into four equal sections with one smaller block in the middle. Three trees grew in the northwest section in 1936, but only one was left in 2007. To the south of the tree area, the cycle path was converted into a road. On the other side, a museum was built in the space where a government office had once stood. A golf course was developed adjacent to the museum, replacing the former farmland.
