The diagram illustrates the number of shops in the situation of close and open in one country from 2011 to 2018.The line graph gives information about the number of shops that were opened or closed between 2011 and 2018 in one country. Overall, the number of store closures or openings showed a significant decrease over the given period. The highest number of shop openings was at the start of the time period at just below 9000 in 2011 before decreasing dramatically to around 4000 in 2012. It then recovered to over 6000 in 2014 and there was a fluctuating trend of decline in the following years to 3000 in 2018. The number of shop closures began the recorded period at just over 6000 in 2011 and fluctuated before dropping sharply to the lowest point at just below 1000 in 2015. It then jumped up to just over 5000 in 2016 and hovered around the same number from 2016 to 2018.
