task response
The answer is not complete. It stops after the opening and does not give a clear answer to the question. State if you think books will be replaced, partly replaced, or not replaced.
task response
Give two clear main ideas and explain each one. For example, the internet is fast and easy to use, but books can be read without power and may help people focus.
task response
Add an example from your life or study. Explain how you use online sources and when you still choose a book.
coherence and cohesion
Use a simple plan: introduction, first reason, second reason, and conclusion. Finish with a short final answer that repeats your main view.
coherence and cohesion
Some linking words are not used well. Do not use both “Although” and “however” in the same sentence. Choose one of them.
coherence and cohesion
Avoid long opening phrases that do not add meaning, such as “There are plethora of reasons” and “before pen down the crux.” Start your ideas in a direct way.
task response
You introduce the topic of technology, the internet, computers, books, and written notes.
coherence and cohesion
You try to show both sides of the topic, which is a useful start for this question.
Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
