task response
Your answer is not complete. You give your view, but you only start the first main point. Add two full body parts and a short ending. Explain why planning helps, and also say why living in the present can still be useful.
task response
Make your main ideas clear with simple examples. For example, say that a student can plan study time before an exam, or a family can save money for a home. These examples can show why planning is important.
coherence and cohesion
The start has a clear view, which is good. However, the essay stops after “Firstly”. Use a clear plan: start, first reason, second reason, and ending.
coherence and cohesion
Link your ideas with simple words such as “First”, “Also”, “For example”, “However”, and “In the end”. Make sure each part has one main idea and then explain it.
coherence and cohesion
Your first sentence is quite long. Split long ideas into shorter sentences so the reader can follow your meaning more easily.
task response
You clearly state that you do not agree with the idea, so the reader knows your view from the start.
coherence and cohesion
You begin with an opening and give a reason for your view: planning can help people avoid problems and do better.
Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:
