A few people believe that money is one of the primary factors in spreading happiness. Money does play some role in keeping a person happy, but it is not a major factor as a person can still be unhappy after becoming rich. There are other factors which play a key role in happiness.

Purchasing things on the internet is gaining momentum in the recent days. People are being more tech-savvy to buy things on the virtual platform. Though, purchasing products and services bring along some disadvantages, I believe that buying things on online carries a lot of benefits.

Nowadays, video games have been so popular among children as well as adults. In my opinion, although playing video games does have various benefits, its negative outcomes are greater.

It is widely believed that reading books is a better way for people to develop their imagination and language skills, in comparison with watching TV. From my perspective, although I partly agree with this opinion, I would argue that language skills can be acquired more effectively by watching TV, and will give my reasons below.

People are suffering from stress-related illness, since mankind came into existence. Whether it's the stress due to work or stress due to their love life. However, the number of people suffering from depression is increasing day by day. This essay will discuss the main cause of stress and some suggestions that will help us in tackling this problem.

The government has always been dealing with the problem of spending the budget of a country or a city on a right issue, since the amount of the budget is limited. Although some people may argue that the money should be spent on enhancing educational systems and healthcare centres, others may believe that the money should be spent on constructing impressive buildings which are important for a city.

It is somewhat true that leisure activities change over the time due to some trend and fashion reflection, but majority of interests stay as a lifelong choice among people. I partly agree with the belief that people change activities which they enjoy during their free time.

Evidently, problems related to environmental degradation are rising day-by-day. Some people argue that by compromising luxurious living style, we can solve this problem easily. However, I believe that less usage of technology and by being more responsible towards our surrounding, human race can tackle this issue effectively.

Globalisation presented us with the opportunity to work or travel to any part of the world. However, it is the opinion of few people that it is the only reason to learn a foreign language. On the other hand, others disagree their views on this and argue that there is more to learning. Though it is a controversial topic, I personally side with the latter.

The top-level jobs are mostly held by men. While there are few women who have achieved the highs in their respective careers, the number of such examples are very few. This begs the question - should the government reserve some spots at the executive level for women. In my view, this should be determined by the caliber of the individual, rather than considering their gender.

It is indeed true that video cameras are increasing being used in many metropolitan cities to deter crime. While I accept that surveillance cameras invade our privacy, in my opinion, the benefits of using them to improve security undoubtedly outweigh the demerits.

It is imperative that governments spend the available fund for the most effective public services of the nation which is beneficial to society at large. Some people believe that governments should allocate sufficient fund for promoting music and arts; However, others think that is a waste of money. From my point of view, countries should employ most of their funds in important public services rather spending money on entertainment activities.

Currently, when the borders between countries have gradually become blurred for the purpose of cultural and economic exchange, international cooperation has been reinforced within various industries. While some experts vote for world business, protection of environment is supported by others.

Over the past few years,with the invention and popularization of new technologies, current generation tends to differ from the people who belonged to the olden era in many ways.While,many people have voiced their opinion that the time kids invest in watching the television and playing video games can be harmful to them,others don't agree and believe that these can be beneficial.I believe although,there are many benefits to the above mentioned activities, certain drawbacks should be considered.

Several companies have an idea of allowing their employees to work from home. So, they can better manage their schedules. Despite some drawbacks, I think it is more beneficial in working at home.

In Britain, when someone gets old they often go to live in a home with other old people where there are nurses to look after them. Sometimes the government has to pay for this care. There was a time when elders were better adjusted to the joint family structure with extended kin providing care and support. However, nowadays, due to lack of such caring system, looking after the aged parents or grandparents has become a challenge. To remedy the problem, a relatively new trend is prevailing where elders are moving in their age cohort in old age homes. In Britain, this gives rise to a debate as to who should bear the cost of taking care of the elderly, the government or the family.

Many of today’s most urgent problems can only be solved through international cooperation. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In these days, many times countries faced various types of problems that may solve via dialogue with each others. In my opinion, I completely agree with that because cooperation is only a solution that helps us to resolve high priority problems such as contact to beloved one, control on health viruses and to arrest a suspicious person.
