Television is dangerous because it destroys family life and any sense of community; instead of visiting people or talking with our family we just watch television. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Ever since it became a core part of family life nearly 70 years ago, television usage has been the target of a variety of attacks. While some people have focused on the physical or mental effects, one particular popular argument is that TV is decimating our sense of family and community since it discourages communication. I strongly agree with this argument.

School days are the foundation stones in a child's social development. It is true that children who are unruly in class tend to have a detrimental effect on the whole batch of students: all the students get disturbed, and therefore, affected by their behaviour. Hence, it has often been suggested that such inattentive and ill-mannered students should be segregated from the rest of the class and tutored separately. However, I am firmly opposed to the idea because I believe that such separation among students will not solve the problem; it will actually increase the divide between well mannered and disruptive students, which is definitely not a good proposition.

In this contemporary era, practical skills are most required for acquiring jobs. So, some people believe that universities should provide graduates with the knowledge and basic skills, whereas the others argue that the main function of the universities are only to provide access to knowledge. I totally agree with the universities must provide knowledge along with the practical skills.

Students are the future of the nation, a well educated individual doesn’t mean securing high grades, but also who has a positive impact on the society. I agree that non profit charitable service should be included in a high school program which will give them a work experience as well.

In my opinion, both administration and parents are responsible because of their improper vigil on food production and eating habits of children respectively.
