1. Every year several languages die out. Some people think that this is not important because life will be easier if there are fewer languages in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion.
Nowadays, the extinction of many languages facilitates the open communication between nations all over the world; however, this incident brings about some underlying drawbacks in terms of culture and society. From my own perspective, I acquiesce to the idea that it is essential to converse all types of distinctive languages. When it comes to the convenience in exchanging information, the linguistic disappearance is one of the most worth-mentioning factors. The plain truth is that the obstacles of native languages between nations which prevent the economy from the development would decrease dramatically. To be more specific, a large body of transnational projects ventured into the Philippines, which includes more than 30 different mother tongue forms of communication, were stopped due to the misunderstanding among investors. While Singapore, one of the leading nations in economy of ASIA, seems to be more successful owing to the single national language, English. Henceforth, the vanishing of this type would foster the sustainable economy. In comparison with the potential economic opportunity, obstructively, it has profoundly adverse impacts on the biodiversity of culture and the uniqueness of certain community. Inferred from the fact that human beings’ world are integrated by a myriad of languages every of which stands for a certain national culture. Obviously, if one language is unintentionally put into permanent oblivion without conservation, the loss in not only linguistic biodiversity but also the antiquity of tradition and custom will be correspondingly piqued. As a thrust of many experts’ arguments, scientists have been making an endeavor to recover and the Atlantics, the lost ancient civilization with unique traits, by the ruin of linguistic evidence. Therefore, language preservation is crucial. As aforementioned explanations, people should take concrete action to keep linguistic heritages intact albeit the merit of popularity some international languages.
