4.B. Should education and healthcare be free of charge and funded by the government, or should it be the responsibility of the people to pay for these services?

History of human
development
has proved that
education
and
healthcare
Suggestion
health care
are fundamental human rights and should not be restricted to anyone regardless of financial status.
However
, people are polarized regarding whether the
cost
of
education
and medical service should be borne by the
government
or people of a country. In my opinion,
government
should bear the
cost
of the facilities to ensure justified distribution and achieve overall
development
of a country. One of the convincing reasons
government
should bear the
cost
of medical and educational facilities is to make sure that all the members of a society can avail the quality educational and
healthcare
service. If these costs are not borne by the
government
, which will understandably affect the affordability of

the poorer segment
of the society and keep them remain deprived of the sophisticated educational and medical facilities. In most of the countries,
for instance
,
government
Suggestion
the government
makes these costs free to its
citizen
to ensure proper distribution of these facilities between rich and poor.
Thus
,
government
Suggestion
the government
can ensure proper allocation of
this
fundamental service by making it free to its
citizen
.
In addition
to
this
, a country’s comprehensive
development
can be achieved when the
government
bears the
cost
of the rudimentary needs
instead
of resting
this
cost
toward its
citizen
. To clarify, medical and educational services swallow a significant portion of the disposable income which can be utilized for better well being

in
from
a family if these costs are borne by the
government
.
This
has been proved by showing Human
Development
Index (HDI), which compares different countries in terms of life expectancy, level of
education
, income expectancy, and reveals that countries (
for example
, Australia & Sweden) providing free
healthcare
Suggestion
health care
and
education
are having
higher HDI score
Suggestion
a higher HDI score
consistently.
Thus
, free
education
and medical services have a contribution towards achieving comprehensive
development
of a country. In conclusion, it is clear that countries are most benefitted when
government

governments
the government
make
healthcare
and medical facilities free to its
citizen
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
