The growth of online shopping will one day lead to all shops in towns and cities closing. Do you agree or disagree?

Undoubtedly, the enormous development in science and technology has led

the online shopping portals resulting in diminishing the shops (specifically the smaller ones) in towns and cities.
However
, the impression that the shops will be fully closed in the future is not realistic. On
this
basis, I strongly disagree with the opinion that
onsite

on-site
ancient
markets are becoming fully depleted despite the popularization of online shopping. It is held belief that the use of information technology and communication devices has now become so eminent that people cannot resist using them for daily life purposes,
such
as shopping. Some people think that buying the

online is more convenient and useful because they do not need to spend a lot time in selecting them in the market. They
also
think that online shopping saves significant time that we spend during transportation from home to the market. Meanwhile, online shopping in some countries has now
also
become a part of their culture.
For instance
, according to a report published in “The daily news”, more than 60% people in China and India prefer online shopping over conventional.
On the other hand
,
traditional way

the traditional way
of purchasing good is still very famous in many countries
such
as Germany, Sweden and England. People in these countries believe that

more mental and physical relaxation. Some even consider it as a family day-out. The percentage of only 10% (as published by European Journal), of the people who prefer online shopping, is extremely low to their above mentioned counterpart.
This
suggests that the traditional way of shopping will survive even though the extreme popularity of online shopping is on the way. In my opinion, the
onsite
taking place or located at the site
on-site
purchase is more beneficial as it brings the family member and friend closer to each other.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
