new stories on TV and in newspaper are very often accompanied by pictures. some people say that these pictures are more effective than words. what is your opinion about this?

Pictorial representations without a doubt are the best ways of communication which is proven scientifically as well. It is proven that stories that are represented with pictures, communicate better than the stories which does not have any pictures. It has become a trend in the modern era of communication to use the picture to convey the message the writer intends to communicate. Be it in a newspaper or a television it is quite essential to add pictures when you are trying to convey some message to your audience. Having the pictures to convey most of the information in a newspaper
article
helps not only the educated to understand the
article
, but
also
the illiterates to understand what the writer is trying to convey. My grandparents who are not educated much read the local papers with ease as they are accustomed to the regional language. But when given an English newspaper they try to understand the
article
based on the pictures that are printed over it as they do not know how to read the language.
This
helps the writer in diversifying their customers and helps him to spread the message in an effective way. To conclude, it is always recommended to add as many photographs as possible in an
article
or a story on television to communicate better to the audience.
