Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree? What other measures do you think might be effective?

In recent years, there has been a serious issue in the amount of
pollution

rising and the possible reason can be the forms of traffic. Some people believe that adjusting the price of gasoline is the most effective way to address the problems and I think that the number of actions should be taken by the
government

and individuals. To start with, the number of
pollution

problems leads to an adverse effect on the environment which resulted from various forms of transport. People may think the most useful way to reduce
this

problem is increasing the price of petrol.
However

, I completely disagree with
this

idea and firmly believe that there are many strategies that can be

of increasing prices for fuels. One thing the
government

can do
that is

the number of private cars should be banned into the city centre during the peak hours and increasing parking lots' fee in downtown. Another thing they

that is

improving public transport in order to attract citizens to take it or subsidising the fares on tickets. Apart from several measures are taken by the

, I deem that individuals could

take responsibility for the aim of solving a wide rage of issues.
Firstly

, people could take public transport

of driving their own cars. A good instance of
this

strategy is that they can choose walking, cycling, or taking subways and bus to and for the destinations.
Secondly

, they could plant a variety of vegetation in the environment, which would reduce the amount of carbon footprint.
Consequently

, the problems of growing traffic and

would be improved by individuals' behaviours. In conclusion, combing the actions to address the

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
