Many companies sponsor sports as a way of advertising themselves. Some people think that it is a good thing, while others think that it has disadvantages. Discuss both views and give your opinion

Sportspersons
are being hired by corporate houses with a view to promoting their
product
. While some people believe that
this
practice offers players a chance to financially support themselves, I believe that advertising
this
way will compel people make wrong choices. On the one hand, financing sports celebrities to endorse the recently unveiled products help players earn some amount of money. Many potential players- in the initial period of their career-often grapple with their financial condition to sharpen their existing skills or to acquire new training in their weak areas. And with the assistance of corporate houses, they apply themselves without worrying about the financial source. With the support of hero cycles- a multinational company in North India-many young players have emerged in a recently organised cricket tournament- Ranji Trophy- which,
otherwise
, must have not been able to showcase their talent at the national level. I,
however
,
Accept space
,
believe that it is not fair trade as people, sometimes, purchase a
product
which may have ill-effects on their health.
On the other hand
, it is sometimes thought that companies promote goods which have detrimental effects on the well-being of individuals. Some liquor or tobacco selling brands present famous sports persons using their
product
and
outreaching
direct toward itself or oneself by means of some psychological power or physical attributes
attracting
their goals.
As a result
, spectators tend to imitate their favourite sports celebrities and buy the same
product
;
hence
, deteriorating their health. Kingfisher-a leading alcohol making company in India- recently inked a deal with Indian Cricket Team to wear sports gear which will have a logo of
this
liquor brand to give an impetus to their sales. I
therefore
believe that endorsing goods with the help of sports players would end up making individual addicted to unhealthy products. In conclusion, advertisement of products by sports person will help financially support emerging players, I believe that
this
phenomenon has negative impact on shoppers.
