It is now possible for scientists and tourists to travel to remote natural environment, such as the South Pole. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

Scientists and travellers

outweighed
its advantages in the long term. On the one hand, travelling to isolated areas on the Earth has a number of benefits.
Firstly
, a trip to
such
places can be considered a great chance for many people, especially scientists, to research and to broaden their horizons about a region.
For instance
, when coming to the North Pole, scientists can learn about life of polar bears which live far away from human beings.
Secondly
, while travelling to other cities or countries has become a norm,
this
type of journey can be much more captivating and interesting. Tourists would have opportunities to explore new places, which provides them valuable experiences and unforgettable

with the appealing natural beauty of these areas.
However
, I would argue that
such
journeys have a wide range of negative aspects. The
first
reason is that visiting remote areas can be costly, since it often requires a large amount of investment in researching and ensuring the safety of travellers.
As a result
, only a small group of individuals can afford

,
such
as the wealth and scientists, and
this
development can lead to a huge gap between the rich and the poor in a nation.
Moreover
, paying a visit to distant natural sites may be dangerous and risky. To illustrate, the temperature of the South Pole is usually low, which is more likely to adversely affect people's health. In conclusion, it seems to me that the disadvantages of visiting remote natural locations far outweigh its benefits, due to the above-mentioned ground.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
