I was born into a family where my education is most influenced by my father. My father love
math
so much and he taught me how to calculate when I was a little boy. He spent a lot of time solving problems related to
math
with me and when I got a difficult problem, he gave me
intructionsa manual usually accompanying a technical device and explaining how to install or operate it
step by step. Day by day, I gradually became more interested in
math
and whenever I have met a problem, I feel very excited and want to solve it immediately.
When I entered my high school, I got into a natural class so I
many science subjects especially
physics
and
math
. During every
physics
lecture, I could explain a new phenomena which I can not do it before. The most fascinating is that almost
this
phenomena I can explain
myself related to
math
and I realized that with a solid foundation of
math
knowledge, I can go
futherto or at a greater extent or degree or a more advanced stage ('further' is used more often than 'farther' in this abstract sense)
in
physics
and dig deeper into
valuable knowledge of humanity. The other crucial thing I got from my high school is
. In each presentation, my
physics
teacher taught us with all his heart and soul, always listened our opinions and gave us hints whenever we needed. It was
this
drive that made me work hard to become a good physicist who can inspire
physics
for many people
who can transform complex physical issues into simpler cases that are accessible to everyone. Because of all that
, I was trying all my best to fulfil my dream and eventually, I got admitted to the faculty of
physics
in
HaNoi National UniversitySuggestion
the Hanoi National University
Hanoi National University
Of Education (HNUE).
two years studying at my university, with the dedicated help
my professors, I dig
in
physics
and the
field
that makes me feel excited is theoretical
physcicsthe science of matter and energy and their interactions
, especially quantum mechanics. From
I have learnt from that
field
, I can understand
that classical
physics
explain, mainly for atomic world.
This
field
is the perfect combination between
math
and
physics
. And through
, I know that many people in foreign countries, they
also
love theoretical
physics
like me, so I always hope that one day I can meet them and learn from them. The Research Experience for Undergraduates
program
at the University of Notre Dame is exactly what I am looking for. When I read about information from
this
university’s home page, I feel a strong pull toward theoretical
physics
, as well as the skills to communicate and collaborate with other people that I can learn here. It is a golden
oppurtunitya possibility due to a favorable combination of circumstances
unlike any I have ever had. I will experience in one of the most dynamic educational in
which is one of the most developed country.
Moreover
, I will directly be
vistingthe activity of making visits
cutting-edge
physics
techonologythe practical application of science to commerce or industry
that I have ever seen in reality and I think
that is
an amazing experience.
Besides
, I will gain many distinct viewpoints on educational philosophy in diverse settings, which is enormously valuable to my goal of contributing to my home country’s
Physics
education quality.
After ten weeks of the REU
program
, I can imagine myself being much more effective in furthering my lifelong goal with much richer learning from
this
experience. Within the
next
two years, I want to continue doing research
physics
to broaden my mind about the nature of
physics
and apply for
program
in
physics
in
countries where
physics
are advanced.
Furthermore
, if I can, I want to continue studying PhD
physics
programs in the
next
five years. With all my solid knowledges I acquire from higher academic
physics
programs, I really believe that I can make a contribution towards the
field
of
physics
and inspire my future students to explore the ordinary yet extraordinary life happening around us. Attending the REU
program
will not only help me unlock my potential and provide me a good environment to collaborate with others wonderful people, but
also
enable me to give inspiration to my future students and fellow classmates who will
also
be researchers and educators in the upcoming years.
