You recently went on holiday with your family to an island resort . Upon your return home, you discovered that you had forgotten a very valuable item there. Write a letter to the hotel manager to inform him/her of your problem. In the letter, you should: Describe the item Say why it is important that you get the item back Tell the manager what you would like him/her to do.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I was recently a guest at your hotel in Cuba, where my family and I had a very pleasant stay. Unfortunately, upon my return home I have that I had left my
laptop
in my room at the hotel, and so I am writing to ask you to please ship it to me.
The laptop
is a 15-inch black Dell, with a silver logo on the cover and a small Batman sticker (placed there by my son) at the bottom right-hand corner of the keyboard. The keyboard itself is worn with some of the letters missing. It should be easy to identify.
I am a university researcher and, though on
vacation, I had to work on a major project. I did not have the opportunity to upload Add the comma(s)
,on
this
vital work to the Cloud, and thereby have a backup, so I genuinely need to recover the laptop
as soon as possible.
Could you please ship it to me by express mail? I will immediately transfer the full costs involved to a bank in your area. Please let me know you have the laptop
and can send it, as well as the banking details.
I appreciate your assistance in this
matter.
Best regards,
