The recent popularity of online shopping will result in the end of high street shops. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

With the advent of internet accessibility, more and more people are buying things online. Some believe that shopping online can eliminate the need of high
street
shops while others believe that it can not. I agree with the latter as people still care for the
quality
and prefer seeing in hand
first
and
also
shopping is seen as a
quality
time
event to spend with others.
To begin
with the build or texture of a material cannot be known just by looking at pixels on the screen. It is important for people to get the feel of the material they are spending money on.
For

example, I
had just bought a branded shirt online which looked fabulous on the

upon seeing it myself after getting

, the
quality
of the cloth felt cheap and was from a different brand and later I had to go through the hassle of returning the same item. Since
then
I prefer
street
shops to buy things as I won't have to worry about the

Genuity
of the material after the payment.
Hence
, people expect original and good
quality
product when they buy which cannot be guaranteed by online shops.
In addition
, shopping is still considered as an event when we get to spend
time
and socialise with friends and family.
Although
almost everything can be bought online, in today's
age most

age, most
of our day is spent sitting

at
a computer so rather than spending more
time
on the screen heading out to shop. To exemplify, whenever me and my friends want to meet we prefer meeting at high
street
shops as help each other out in selecting things to

buy, but
most importantly spend
time
catching up on things and talk face to face.
Therefore
, people consider
street
shopping
as
Suggestion
at
a
time
to socialise and spend good
time
with each other. In conclusion, online shopping completely replacing high
street
shops seems impractical as the authenticity of the product bought is always questionable for the buyers and
street
shopping brings friends and families together to spend
time
with each other.
