Nowadays more and more tourists are visiting places with difficult weather conditions, such as the Sahara desert and the Antarctic region and so on. What are the advantages and disadvantages for tourists who visit such places?

Nowadays people looking for interesting places to visit for. Some of them are bored of comfortable conditions, some of them want to see something spectacular, something what they have not seen before as Sahara desert or the Antarctic region. On the one hand, tourists gain many advantages from a trip to those extreme areas. They may become stronger individuals physically and mentally. As they need to prepare for a trip. They can start going to the gym before taking a long trek.
Additionally
, travellers can learn surviving skills in extreme conditions
such
as how to keep your body warm in the freezing temperature of the Antarctic or how to find water if you are stuck in a desert.
On the other hand
visiting those places can be dangerous for health or even can be lethal in relation to severe weather conditions or specific ground conditions. Disadvantages are
also
that it can be expensive and have to spend more money for equipment. Before going to extreme areas need to be honest with yourself. And ask yourself. For what are you doing that. And are you ready? And maybe to watch National Geographic is much better and safety.
