Many people today, especially in the developed world, are choosing to have fewer children, or none at all. Why is this happening, and do you think it is a good trend? Nowadays, people in developed countries tend to have fewer or no children in one's family. It is not a surprising situation in today's society due to occupations of parents and financial reasons.
This
 essay will discuss the causes of
this
 phenomenon and give my opinion on it. Most of them considered social pressure as one of the reasons. Having children would likely to create a financial burden in a family and a responsibility to look after the children.
Also
, people are busy at work and earning money. They are not likely to have time to take care of children. In Chinese traditional society, it may not be a good trend because they think children are responsible to carry on one's name.
However
, it should be taken into consideration that the burden of taking care of a child is huge.
