Vaccinating children against preventable diseases is not only unnecessary but also dangerous. Discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree

The discovery of
vaccination
is considered to be one of most crucial milestones in history of health and medicine. Gradually
,
Accept space
,
it has taken a crucial role in our health care
system
.
Vaccination
is a process where a virus or bacteria is administered into a human body so that the human immune
system
could be prepared to prevent infections. While there is a section among healthcare practitioners who strongly advocate
vaccination
, there are
also
a few who strongly oppose it. I am a strong advocate of the former view and I will present my views on both sides of
this
topic in
this
essay.
Vaccination
is undoubtedly a double edged sword and if not used properly
,
Accept space
,
it could be fatal.
For example
, hundreds of children in the early 19th century have died due to administration of penicillin vaccine. These children were later found to be sensitive to penicillin.Vaccines are highly sensitive medication which should be processed and stored in a highly regulated environment. Mishandling or negligence in storage or improper administration being the common factors which have proved to be fatal in many instances.
For example
, administration of expired polio vaccine in India has resulted in death and illness in many children from year 1995-1999. It is imperative that
vaccination
presents us with some disadvantages which cannot be ignored. Though
vaccination
has few disadvantages, I reckon that it has been a boon to the mankind and has saved numerous lives. It would not be an overstatement if we divide our history into pre-vaccine and post-vaccine era. Before
vaccination
came into the practice, thousands of kids have died despite receiving medical care. These deaths have triggered many studies on disease causing virus, bacteria and human immune
system
which ultimately led to the advent of vaccines. It is an absolute fact that vaccines have saved human kind of deadly diseases. According to World Health Organization, the Infant and child mortality rates are lower in countries where
vaccination
is a common practice. These statements and facts are certainly in favour of
vaccination
. While I strongly agree that vaccinating children is essential for their well being, there are many studies which support my view. There are a number of studies which prove that
vaccination
is the one and only way to prepare our immune
system
to fight and prevent certain deadly diseases. Though it presents us with some challenges, I reckon that if put to good use,
vaccination
can prove to be a life saver rather than a fatal medical practice. I strongly agree that Vaccine is essential and its advantages certainly overweigh the disadvantages.
