In spite of the advances made in agriculture, many people around the world go hungry. Why is this case? What can be done about this problem?

 is the basic necessity of every human being. Even though, there have been significant advancements in the field of agriculture, there is still starvation around the

 essay, I will present some causes

poverty

population
.
Also
, will present some solution to overcome

 problem. The most significant factor affecting
hunger

poverty
. Mechanical advancement in in the field of technology did help farmers harvest and cultivate faster, but it increased the production cost as well.
As a result
, overall market cost of fruits, vegetables and grains increased, affecting daily workers and people with no money. To illustrate

, as per the research by Walmart supermarket, over the
last
 decade, grocery prices increased 3 times.
In contrast
 to GDP decreased by 5%.
This
 proved that a lesser number of people can afford daily
food
 and are unable to feed their family. Another compelling factor affecting
hunger

population
. As per the

 index

 production around the
world
 is equivalent to what it was a decade ago, but

Suggestion
the population
 has drastically changed.
Therefore

 export has been in decline, as the government is hardly able to feed their inland

.
For example
, Nigeria depends on

 import from other countries, which is now limited. As a consequence, Nigeria has the biggest
hunger
 rate around the

. A solution to eradicate
hunger
 can be achieved by donating
food
.
Firstly
, restaurants around the
world
, throw away excess
food

instead
, they should donate it to nearly shelter, so that people can eat and won't sleep hungry.
Also
, when buying grocery, everyone should donate some percentage of fruits and veggies, to export.
This
 might start a global support for countries where they lack agricultural land and would be able to feed its citizen's. In conclusion,
poverty

population
 are two biggest factors affecting
hunger
 in the current
world
. While, donating
food
, locally or globally is the way to help global citizen's and eradicate
poverty
.
