enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office

The line graph illustrates the change in the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office (TIO) in a major city over a six month period. Here, people communicated to the TIO in three modes (in person, by letter/email, by telephone). At the beginning of the year, citizens were used to communicating via telephone whereas getting information by visiting personally became popular in the month of June.
However
, letter/ email became the least popular medium of communication at the end of the period. According to the graph, the frequency of getting information by visiting in person increased gradually in the
first
three months and having a sharp increase makes it up to the top (approximately 1900 in June).
On the other hand
, the frequency of receiving nearly 800 letters/emails (in January) has a gradual decrease made it the least popular medium of communication in June (less than 400).
Although
starting with the highest frequency in January (around 900), experiencing ups and downs telephonic conversation became the
second
popular way of communication for getting information.
