Environmental protection is the responsibility of politicians, not individuals as individuals can do too little. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The power individuals hold is so limited that the responsibility of environmental conservation should be allocated to the authorities. I completely disagree with
this

idea as both governments and individuals are accountable for protecting the earth. On the one hand, since politicians have a far-reaching influence over their countries and even the world, they might tackle serious environmental issues

as climate change or pollution more effectively.
Firstly

, governments can introduce laws and ensure that they are rigorously enforced.
For example

, the authorities impose heavy penalties on companies that violate illegal dumping laws.
Secondly

, they have sufficient resources as well as the financial means to do large-scale research and collect comprehensive data in order to find solutions to environmental concerns.
In other words

, governments can see the big picture and take reasonable steps to address the problems.
On the other hand

, I believe that individuals can play an important role in protecting the earth. There are a variety of habits to implement in everyday life which will make a huge difference.
For instance

Furthermore

, authorities are not able to oversee or control the actions of all individuals.
For example

individuals.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
