University should enroll equal numbers of male and female students in all subjects. Do you agree or disagree?

It is argued that, both men and women should be given an equal number of seats in the university education. In my opinion, I completely agree that, females should get an equal share in each and every field of education, because women are equally talented as men and it is important to maintain gender equality in the society. I am of the opinion that tertiary institutions should enrol an equal number of male and female students. Females should have a seat at every table; sports, music, medicine,
etc
continuing in the same way
etc.
, because they are equally as talented as their male counterparts and it is
also
very important to maintain gender equality in the society.
Furthermore
, if only men go into education, and women are forced to remain indoors,
then
no good can come out of it. Yes, men have done tremendously well in advancing the sciences, but we cannot deny the fact that women have contributed to the field of science, medicine, space exploration etc. It is true that if admission is done based on gender, male students will be ahead of their female counterparts by a landslide. But still, universities should accept an equal amount of male and female students, for the advancement of society and the empowerment of women.
