These days, many people have their own computer and telephone, so it is quite easy for them to do their job at home. Does working at home have more advantages or more disadvantages?

The issue of the distant working is quite debatable nowadays. While the reduced level of concentration is considered by some as the main drawback of the working at
home
, I believe that the
time
economization
overcomes the above-mentioned negative aspect. The most principal disadvantage of the remote working from
home
is a lower engagement in the
office
processes. In fact, employees are not involved in the atmosphere of their
office
via a laptop or a mobile phone. It is explained by the fact that there are myriad
distractive
causing destruction or much damage
destructive
factors at
home
,
such
as children, pets and house cleaning. All of them directly affect the communication between those who
work
at
home
and those who
work
at
office
Suggestion

an office
. Eventually,
this
leads to the increase in the number of mistakes committed by the personnel, thereby lowering the results of a company or declining an

salary.
Thus
, the distant working diminishes the internal communication and negatively affects the employees, as well as
companies
Suggestion
the companies
they
work
for. The most common advantage associated with the remote working is a shortage of
time
spent on related issues.
This
means that while working at
home
, a person has no need in travelling to an
office
and returning to their
home
. Undoubtedly,
such
convenient option saves a great amount of
time
wasted on commuting.
Furthermore
, employees working at
home
do not need to interrupt their
work
for going to a café for a lunch or a coffee. The reason for
that is
the availability of kitchen at their places of living.
Hence
, working through a computer or a phone economises the
time
of employees in terms of commuting and eating. To summarise, in my view, it is evident from the foregoing arguments that the major strong point of working at
home
,
such
as reducing of
time
wasted on travelling and eating, prevails over the main objection, namely the low involvement of employees

at
work
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
