Some people believe that all company decisions should be made by managers. Others feel that it is better to include employees when making decisions. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

These days, many companies involve their employees in the
decision
-making
process
. While some think that managers must take all the
company
's
decision
, I agree with those who believe that other employees should be involved in
this
process
as it will boost their
morale
and productivity. On the one hand, it is thought by some that the higher authorities should be allowed to take all
de

decisions
n the
organization
.
This
is because, having wide experience and vast knowledge in their field, managers know all the strength and weakness of the
organization
.
This
helps one
company
to react quickly and be ahead of its competitors.
For instance
, in India, the well-known
company
Reliance is always one step ahead of its competitors like Bharti and Tata, because the management has been given full authority to their managers from respective department to take all important decisions.
Although
these decisions are beneficial to the
organization
, I believe that all
such
decisions would not be accepted by other employees all the time, which gives me a valid reason not to accept
this
view.
On the other hand
, it is argued by others that other people working in the
company
must involve in the
decision
-making
process
. As not only will it increase the
morale
of them, but it will increase the productivity too.
Also
, if other employees are involved in the important
decision
of the
company
along with their manager, they will feel that they are the part of an
organization
.
For example
, in renowned
company
Google, it involves all its employees in an important
decision
along with the head of the department in order to make feel to them that they are the part of
this
decision
, resulting in an increase in their
morale
and give their best in the work.
Hence
, I think that any
company
involves their people in the
decision
-making
process
, brings loyalty to an employee, and
this
gives me a reason to agree with
this
view. In conclusion, even though the managerial
decision
allows the
company
to act quickly so as to remain in the competition, in my view, involving other co-workers in the
decision
not only will it bring the feeling of loyalty but
also
boost the
morale
and productivity.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
