In some schools and universities, girls tend to choose art subjects (e.r. literature) and boys tend to choose science subjects (e.g physics) Why do you think this is so? Should this tendency be changed?

Young female person opts courses related to art
such
as literature, fashion etc. Whereas young boys adopt courses like physics, chemistry etc. Whilst studying in schools and colleges. In my perception,
this
is because schoolgirls are creative in nature and schoolboys likes to accept challenging programs and I believe
this
leaning is altered by imposing technological courses in educational institutions. One of the prime reasons for
this
trend is girls are generally creative in nature and accept less challenging jobs and because of
this
they prefer courses which involve artistry. Take the example of the fashion industry, which has influence of most of the leading female fashion designers. Whilst boys are commonly more competitive and they elect tougher and physically demanding programs like science and engineering.
Moreover
, obtaining science degrees guarantee better job opportunities.
For example
, higher level posts in most of the conglomerates are filled with young man who graduated from IIT institutions and every year rise in turnover of these companies is the result of their efforts. In my perception, if subjects related to ever improving technology are proposed in studies,

then then
it definitely helps to change
this
inclination to some extent.
In other words
, today’s young generation has the greatest impact of technology,
thereforetherefore
Suggestion
therefore therefore
students will gain interest automatically towards it. Girls who got the gift of creativity from nature are surely motivated to gain confidence to handle challenges and to enter into male dominated environments like researches, engineering etc.

Besides
, boys will
also
have a benefit of
this
new field to excel their creativity. To conclude, I believe that by proposing technology oriented subjects in studies the tendency of choosing particular courses of young women and men can be changed.
