the western ones especially in western countries. A gap year could have both advantages and disadvantages. Considering the advantages, the clearest one is that spending a time of our life abroad in a different country with an unlike culture can give, especially to younger people, the possibility to become open-minded. It could be a great quality within the
university
or in his place of work, where he could find foreign people.
Moreover
, working before the graduating process can help the students to become more mature and that could sustain the guy in face the new reality in which they are going to live.
Also
, it could be interesting to find a job abroad, as it can let the young boy or girl growing up more quickly than staying at home in their comfort zone. It is important not to forget the fact that living in a new country can give you the opportunity to learn a new language and new traditions to make new friends and to become more self-confident with the other. These are all qualities that either the new teachers or the employers will be looking for. Contrarily, one of the disadvantages that comes up to my mind is that both travelling or working between the end of the high school and the beginning of the

. Concluding, I believe that doing a gap year has more advantages than disadvantages but there is the need, for the graduated students, to be conscious that, after
