Some suggest that young people should take a job for a few years between school and university. discuss what the advantages and disadvantages might be for people who do this.

One of the most controversial / debatable issues today relates to many young people are faced some difficult choice once their graduation from high school.
By contrast
, there are some people who suggest that before students attend
university
, they should seek employment for a few years. So,
this
essay is going to examine
this
question from both points of view. On one hand, those people who agree with
this
trend have many justifications. They think that it is important for economic reasons;
this
means that it gives them a chance to save money.
Next
, it is wanted for human factors;
in other words
the student often needs to buy some supplies, they normally work part-time at
university
to cover these costs.
Moreover
, it is required for personal interests; in more details if they have savings, they will have more time to focus on their studies.
On the other hand
, those who argue against
this
trend have their own ideas.
For instance
, it is harmful for health risks;
this
implies that it may imply human harm
such
as facing some accidents in their jobs. After that, some students should attend
university
as soon as possible because it may take a long time to attain their qualifications.
then
Suggestion
Then
, it is rejected for some side effects;
this
means that it may have a lot of bad implications; people who work
first
might find it hard to return to education after being in a work environment. As we have seen, there are no easy answers to
this
question. On balance,
however
, I tend to believe that it is a double – edged weapon, and it is important to be able to get the benefit of its advantages and to avoid its drawbacks. So, I think there is an upside and downside to working before
university
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
