There has been a constant discussion as to the party (
irefers to the speaker or writer
.e.
or
society
) that should be responsible for the University’s tuition.
Although
most people believe that the college significantly benefit the students
instead
of the entire community, others think that the
society
should pay these fees.
This
essay explains why payment of tertiary tuition should be a joint responsibility of both parties – students and
society
.
It is a known fact that there can no monumental progress or development without the innovative ideas that are
generated by university students and graduates.
As a result
of the
unquantifiablecapable of being quantified
positive impact of these ideas, most countries have started to sign into law tertiary education grants for all students as a financial support for the students.
For instance
, Kenya has recently signed into statute educational subsidy for all students following the world-class software and device developed by the students in the University of Kampe to track all cars in the country.
This
the opinion that both parties stand to benefit from the learning outcome.
Furthermore
, there is no doubt that
can be quite expensive. As a matter of fact, most students do not have the financial capacity to support themselves due to one uncontrollable factor and another. According to the global educational report published my
PwCa container used for carrying money and small personal items or accessories (especially by women)
, 65% of students in the institution of higher learning struggle to pay their fees. It
further
stated that 45% of most graduates in the
last
2 decades have
loans to settle after graduation.
This
further
validate that the
burden should not be completely on the students.
In conclusion, while it might be tempting to hastily think that it’s only the students that reap the reward of their learning without any impact on the
society
, no community has ever developed and would ever develop beyond its educational system most especially its tertiary education.
As a result
, both parties should jointly share the fees responsibility.
