Some people think that all university students should study whatever they like. Others believe that they should only be allowed to study subjects that will be useful in the future, such as those related to science and technology. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

It is believed by some people that everyone should have freedom of choice to study what they like and enjoy whereas some others think only few necessary areas
such
as technological and scientific subjects should be taught at universities. I totally agree that we humans are more successful when we learn a subject
that is

from
our freedom. In my point of view, education is very important in individual life and the field chosen according to the interest, capable the person to overcome any problems and difficulties.
In other words
, motivation paves the way to be successful.
For example
, studying music or arts are topics that some traditional parents

accept as a career for their children,
however
, many famous singers came from those families.
Also
, if those musicians were stopped by their parents

we would not have had a miraculous music industry.
On the other hand
, some subjects are believed as essential skills by society that only those should be focused

universities, to help the world to develop technologies and sciences with more facilities for the future.
For instance
, cancer is a major health problem for a lot of patients suffering from it and increasing

.So it is vital that the main budget of the education system be allocated to research and study to save victims of
this
sickness while encouraging new generations to just be educated in these areas as doctors or scientists. All in all,
Although
there is no doubt doctors and scientists play a significant role in our society, I believe different subjects should be studied at universities and there should not be any obligation for
some
one or some or every or all without specification
any
essential skills.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
