Some people believe that it is important for young children to go to school as soon as possible. Others, however, believe that children should be allowed to stay at home and play until they are six or seven years old. Which viewpoint do you agree with? Why?

Children are born free and deciding the right
age
for starting a formal education in schools has been a topic of contention for a while now. While some parents believe that children should be allowed to be at home until the
age
of six or seven the others believe that it should be started as soon as possible. While there is no right or wrong answer to how you raise your
child
, I believe three to four years of
age
is the right time to enrol them in the
school
. These days we have families where both parents are working full time jobs and it becomes more than a matter of choice
but compulsion
Suggestion
but a compulsion
to put the children in
school
from a very early
age
. In nuclear families, it is difficult for parents to take care of the
child
while having full time jobs. It comes as no surprise, that the 90% of parents who support the thought of sending children by the
age
of six or seven were households where at least one parent was a homemaker, or they had their parents living with them. These parents
also
believe against burdening the children with books and studies from an early
age
and believes in natural learning and
development
. They believe that children should gather intelligence and logic naturally while staying at home or playing in the garden. They
also
feel that a
school
environment restricts the
child
’s natural instincts and behaviour, which should be left free of any boundaries and restrictions. Children energy levels are very high as compared to adults. They have a natural curiosity to know things, to touch and feel everything around them. Their early learnings are a stepping-stone to their mental
development
and attitude. While at home they are used to of seeing a specific set of people regularly, it is
also
important for children to meet and engage with other children of their
age
, that’s where
school
plays a big role. A study
also
shows that the mental
development
of the
child
is at the highest between the
age
of three to seven years,
this
is where the
school
becomes important for the
child
, as it feeds the curiosity of the
child
when the
child
is most receptive and absorbs everything they learn. To conclude, I believe children should be enrolled in a
school
by the
age
of three to four years when they are most receptive.
This
would not only help the
child
develop through human interaction but
also
help in building a strong foundation for the
child
and help in
overall
Suggestion
the overall development
development
of the
child
.
