Computers are being used more and more in education. Some people say that this is a positive trend, while others argue that it is leading to negative consequences. Discuss both sides of this argument and then give your own opinion

The amount of time spent on
television
programs by children has increased in recent times and
as a result
, they are not very well educated because books play an important role in their learning process. I completely support the idea of choosing books on
television
. It has been evident from ancient times that books are our best friends and there is no known knowledge
that is
not available in the books. They are nothing but someone's recorded ideas, experiments, philosophy, and emotions. It can teach us everything about various aspects of how to live our lives and how to be a better person.
Moreover
, the study shows that a person who reads a lot of books have a better understanding of life and
there
of them or themselves
their
personality is more mature than non-readers. Due to the development in science and technology around the globe, it has been noticed that people are more leaning towards digital reality and media.
For example
,
television
is one of the most famous gadgets enjoyed by all age groups, especially kids.
Study
Suggestion
The study
shows that, on average, kids from 5 years to 12 years of age group, spend 4-5 hours watching
television
.
Moreover
, they dedicate the maximum amount of time behind entertainment shows rather than informational programs. The advancement in digital education is provoking parents all over the world to prompt their kids to choose
television
over reading the information in the
convention
Suggestion
conventional
method.
Therefore
, kids nowadays, are not very proactive compared to kids from the
last
generation and the main reason is the reduction of the use of books. All in all, I believe that for all eternity, nothing can replace books as the source of gaining knowledge and it plays a vital role in children's childhood.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
