Individuals can do nothing to improve the environment; only governments and large companies can make a difference. To what extent do you agree or disagree? You should write at least 250 words.

It is often argued that it is the responsibility of
government
officials and multinational companies to bring changes towards the
environment
and to improve the quality standards towards nature.
This
essay will disagree with the mentioned statement, which says the sole responsibilities should be
on
Suggestion
in
government
and companies only.
Firstly
, in my viewpoint,
government
officials and multinational companies have the bandwidth to support and work towards a healthy
environment
, these organisations have a good backup of manpower, and they are financially strong,
for example
, a recent report has been published by the
government
of India with the collaboration of TATA group of companies which says 75- 80% CRS responsibilities have been initiated by both the organisation in the activities
such
as more than fifty thousands of saplings have been planted across the city of Mumbai;
also
strict laws have been implemented in case anybody who tries to demolish or pollute the
environment
by spitting, throwing litter on the road, or in the public settings. Many other new policies have been introduced to safeguard the
environment
by introducing odd & even days for the vehicles in order to regulate air pollution.
However
, initiatives can be done by the local residents even if the citizens are not financially stable. There are programs supported by the
government
where any individual can volunteer for the betterment of the
environment
by taking part in different campaigns,
for example
, recently a cleanliness drive was done by the residents of Mumbai city at Juhu Beach, where many people gathered and clear all the trash on the beach and the program went successful.
Furthermore
, youths can organize campaigns related to  " say no to plastic".
Where
Suggestion
Were
all young and middle-age people can work together by visiting different areas, meeting people in urban, and remote areas to educate them about the consequences of using plastic. To conclude, improving the
environment
is not only the duty of
government
officials and multinational companies, but initiatives can be done by the common people towards the
environment
, in my view, it would be great if both of them are working together for the same cause.
