When choosing a job. The salary is the most important consideration. What extent do you agree or disagree?

Opting for work is, in my opinion, one of the most crucial decisions an individual has to make for his career.

This

depends on various influential factors ranging from compensation to personal growth.

However

, in most of the cases, people consider money to be the most important component, which should not be the case in my personal opinion. Any young person, at the stepping stone of the start of their educational journey, thinks about how much money they can earn in the domain which they are pursuing.

For instance

, the colleges with the highest placement records are most sought after in any competitive exam. It not only defines the mindset of students but of parents as well. Every parent looks at the return on the sum invested in their child's education;

instead

of evaluating which institute employees the best set of teachers.

This

approach implants the need for bagging the highest package in their brains. Albeit important,

this

need should be placed

second

to the learning and growth experience of their children. The importance placed on different factors

also

changes with age. At the beginning of the professional journey, candidates who rank skill improvement higher, look out for the job profile and organization reviews

instead

of the salary.

This

way has been proven to be more effective in the long term,

in addition

to monetary benefits, someone who has a vast experience along with a name of reputed organizations in their profile should be able to gain an advantage over others.

Although

getting paid reflects on the importance and skills of an employee, I strongly advocate the requirement of evaluating complete benefits and opportunities presented.

way, not only a person can ensure they are able to achieve a viable balance between compensation, skill growth and the ability to give time to their family.
