Some people think that getting degree from university is the best way to guarantee a good job, while others believe that it would be better go straight into work and get experience. Discus both sides and give your opinion.

Teenagers, when they finish high school, face the dilemma of whether apply for
work
or continue their academic training. While some are of the opinion That there are some benefits to getting a
job
straight after school, Others claim that it is better to go to an educational institute.
This
essay will delve into both these views, but my own feeling on
this
subject is that obtaining an academic
degree
out weight than working without delay after completing secondary school. On the one hand, some support the idea that it is more beneficial to have a
job
compared to becoming an academic professional.
This
is probably because of the time consuming which should spend on higher education to get a
degree
. At least 4 years fulltime study is required to obtain a bachelor’s
degree
as well as coping with the high cost of the tuition. So, for many the idea of getting straight to
work
and having an income to live independently is appealing. Another justification is that the supporter of the former idea claim that they can learn skills and gain experience and skill through
work
while if they opt to go to university, after 4 years they should look for a
job
as a
first
entry. So, they prefer working other than educating.
On the other hand
, the opponent of the view argues that unprecedented advanced technology has impacted on the way works get done and world’s needs world so the labour market has become more competitive than ever , without having profession there is less chance to enhance proper task and maintain on it . They argue that advanced technology has affected our life and
as a result
in careers, nations no longer need labours as much as before. The ample example if two applicants are ready for a manager position, once has a decent experience and the other one with an academic qualification, it is more likely the position be taken up by the
second
one. Another argument that
this
group put forward is that academic education fosters soft skills. There are a lot of practices and projects which put students in the situation that they need to solve the problem,
work
in a team, manage time and more which are essential skills for
work
’s environment. Researchers show that students who completed an academic
degree
are more self-esteem and cooperative than others. Since higher education raises the chance of getting a
job
and boosts soft skills it has been said that in it guarantees the future
job
. Taking everything into consideration, I am personally inclined to agree with the latter view. My feeling on the subject is that as a matter of fact that life is getting changes due to high technology, the world needs more sophisticated and educated workforces with the ability of problem- solving, teamwork, time manager. It is better people be aware of future
work
market’s needs
then
pursue their dreams and opt for an academic program.
