Cities have been considered a suitable place to live by some people whereas there are others who think living in the countryside is better.Life in a city ,although requires labour,outraces life in a rural area.This essay will discuss both the advantages and disadvantages of living in a city and a village. On the one hand,life in the city has attracts people because of its improved standards of living.The average income of people is generally higher in cities which allows them to lead a better life.In comparison,the number of job opportunities is less in rural areas.For instance,people are moving to cities for earning better and living a better life since the old days.Moreover, the involvement of government in building cities has made it a better place to live such as the construction of better quality roads and faster means of transportation.For example, in case of some medical urgency,it is difficult in rural areas to reach hospitals on time and is a significant reason for increasing death rates in villages. On the other hand,the growing industrial activities in cities have polluted the air which has severe health effects.Most of the people are moving to the countryside because of the good quality of air and lower levels of noise pollution.To illustrate,a recent survey by the United Nations appeals that people living in the countryside have better health and would live longer as compared to people in cities.Moreover,migration of a lot of people in cities has limited the space available for a living whereas in villages a there is an immense area available for living.
