The whole world is running these days to achieve newer developments. In
this
race, they have gained a lot and
also
lost something. One of the big achievement is the discovery of vehicles which has advantages as well as disadvantages. Now the scenario is that few cities have banned the use of vehicles for at least a day. In
this
essay, we will discuss how effective the ban is and what are the side effects of it. Some cities in the country have decided to introduce vehicle-free days and encouraged people to use public transport
instead
of using their own car. In my opinion,
this
is the best way of reducing the amount of pollution in the air we have due to the ample use of cars, taxis, metro, etc. It
also
decreases the noise pollution as there will be no sound created by the four-wheelers. Global warming is
also
a creation of the soot-rich air that will
also
be reduced when there will be no carbon in the atmosphere merely for a day or so. There is a disadvantage of
this
particular day.
This
will hamper the lifestyle of the people who are used to of their own vehicles and have a problem using government-owned. The major factor is that these are time-consuming and not useful when one is in hurry.
Moreover
, I see the advantages are more than disadvantages and we should encourage the initiative taken by the Government against global warming.
