Education is not the only criterion for getting a job now as we find in many countries people remain jobless even after completing their studies. What are the reasons behind youth unemployment and what problems arise due to it? What solutions do you think this can have?

The youth unemployment rate is quite high in many countries even though there are enough qualified graduates. Various attributes are owing to the
lack
of enough
jobs
. The drawbacks that arise
as a result
of joblessness and the multiple ways to tackle
this
problem will be discussed below. The
first
and foremost reason for the graduates to remain jobless is because many
lack
confidence and the required inter-personal
skills
.
In other words
, lacking in communication
skills
, and
also
the
right
attitude makes them ineligible to get the
right
work. Another point to consider is they are just unwilling to take that extra effort needed to equip themselves for the highly-demanding technical assignments. Technical training courses,
for instance
, could help alleviate the gap in technology-related subjects. One issue that arises due to
this
joblessness is students who have taken education loan will not be able to clear the debt, unless they get are offered a good package.
This
on the long-run reduces their self-confidence and
also
the quality of their life might be affected. The
second
problem is the majority of a country's youth sitting jobless will directly affect the economical growth as younger generation attribute to almost 50% of the total population. The
first
possible solution is the state should create temporary or short-term
jobs
for the freshly graduated students which would train them with the necessary
skills
required. Corporates,
for example
, should offer internship for the
right
candidates with extraordinary techno-functional
skills
. The
second
way to solve the
lack
of
jobs
is to train the students with soft
skills
whilst they are still in college.
As a result
, while they graduate they will have all the qualities that are needed for IT
jobs
. In conclusion,
lack
of
right
attitude and shortage of technology knowledge may add to the joblessness, and
this
could be overcome by providing the youth with the required training and offering
jobs
for the eligible graduates.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
