Some people are tempted by seasonal jobs offering a high earning for a short period of work.
However
, the drawbacks that come along can be disastrous for a person's life. The reason for
that is
 because they usually have harsh conditions and people need to stay away from their beloved ones.
For example
, one temporary job available is being crew in a cruise ship. While being on vacation there is a lifetime experience, working in one is totally different. To start, the shifts exceed 8 hours, being common having a 12 hours turn. The room you get to sleep is often small and shared with someone else that you do not get to choose. That means you cannot take a lot of your belongs with you.
Furthermore
, since its a seasonal job, the ship stays sailing for most of the peak season in the summer. 
This
 means the crew cannot see their family and friends for months.
In addition
, at the sea there is no wi-fi, so no communication with the outside world for a few days either. In my opinion, while seasonal jobs have a higher income and can be useful when saving money for a project, people should not be choosing it as a lifestyle because of the hard work conditions and the time spent away from the ones they care about.
