Some people prefer to spend their lives doing the same things and avoiding change. Others, however, think that change is always a good thing. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

There are different types of
people
. The
first
ones are those, who do not want to alter their life and refuse to get out of their comfort zone. The
second
group of
people
are adventurers, who love
change
and prefer to transform their lives every day. In
this
essay, both viewpoints will be discussed. In the
first
place, it is obvious, that individuals who prefer to stick to their traditional way of living feel more comfortable and fear that they will lose everything they worked for so many years if they make one simple transformation.
For example
, if a person has a good position in a small company, where he earns a decent salary, he will want to keep
this
job, because it is assured.
Although
he may not like his colleague, with whom he may have a conflict of interests, he would not risk the well-being of him and his family.
Besides
, some
people
prefer spending their whole lives doing the same things and avoiding
change
, because they are frightened of the unknown.
However
, I personally believe it is important for a person's personal growth to have the courage to get out of the comfort zone because that zone is a dream killer. If
people
are not open to
change
, they will continue to be stuck in that place, where they are unhappy.
Additionally
, a
change
can represent a break from the past and an established routine that has become boring and predictable. The key to happiness and self-love remains the ability to make the right decisions no matter the consequences. Despite the fact that not every
change
is a good thing, almost every successful person reached
this
place in their life thanks to thinking outside of the box. The
change
represents the way to progress and success, which represent the reason, why I support the adventurers, who take their lives into their own hands without hesitation. In conclusion, the debate whether
people
should follow the traditional methods of living or resort to modern trends

is fulfilled with contrasting arguments. My personal opinion is
people
should learn how to be happy by welcoming changes in the different stages of their life.

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for example
  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
  • such as
  • namely
  • to illustrate
  • take, for example
