car ownership has increased so rapidly over the past 30 years that many cities in the world are now 'one big traffic jam'. how to do you think this statement is? what measures can government take to discourage people from using their cars.

It is undeniable that
car
manufacturer is the biggest profitable industry. After the discovery of petroleum, automobiles factories are established in the world.
Car
ownership has been increasing for the past 30 years. Due to
this
, many big cities have an issue of big
traffic
jam
. In my opinion, it has a negative influence on society and the environment. Undoubtedly, it is the
government
responsibilities to take some steps to motivate
people
to reduce the usage of their cars. Today, Every person has their own
car
. In
this
world, many cars are sold and bought by every individual. The predominant effect of inclining the
use
of a
car
on the environment. Vehicles produce a lot of carbon dioxide that increasing the temperature of our atmosphere. The scientific term for
this
is called global warming.
This
issue is not a simple issue, it is one of the major problems on earth.
Next
, with the big
traffic
jam
,
people
face many problems
such
as employees late for their work as well as children late for school. If a serious patient stuck in the middle of a
traffic
jam
then
it becomes critical for them.
People
get mental health problem. Some
people
feel anxiety, stress, and worry
that is
not good for them. To illustrate my point, in a recent study, a researcher said that many megacities have a face
traffic
problem, it increases every year.
This
will create a hustle-bustle on the road and
this
would create a depression in some
people
. In order to control
traffic
, the
government
should make rules and regulation to control
this
.
First
of all, officials have to promote the
use
of bicycle more than a
car
. It will help to reduce the
traffic
jam
and reduce the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Moreover
, the
government
should make a scheme for using public transport,
this
will encourage the public to
use
them more.
For example
, in India, public transport like buses and metros are free for old
people
and ticket price for children and females have a special discount on their ticket.
This
promotes them to
use
public transport. In conclusion, the
car
is made for easier transportation from one place to another. If
this
become problematic for our environment and society
then
people
and
government
should think about the usage of private transportation.
