Some people think that all University students should study whatever they like. Others believe that they should only be allowed to study subjects that will be useful in the future. Such as those related to Science and Technology Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Let us normalize thinking out of the box! Having said that, I have a strong opinion that University students should study whatever they like.
This
not only helps the pupil in talk to be interested in studies but
also
aids fields other than the widely accepted ones to receive a contribution. Science and Technology are dominating the world and
this
does not surprise me since there are easy to monetize.
For example
, an AI - Artificial Intelligence algorithm can be deployed with minimal investment but can be scaled to a large extent to maximize return.
This
is the reason these fields have

lucrative pay. On the other ,hand not a lot of people can be found making a career out of,
for instance
, art or comedy. Tech has provided the world with platforms like Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, Coursera to name a few of the millions where people exhibit skills not only acquired at University but through experiences in life. As of 2021, we have courses for developing memes - a funny graphic that takes no time to go viral, making great Youtube content, being a social influencer. These are courses that have only recently started popping up and can be the new normal. Students should have the right to all the possible courses and not only what is necessary for the 'future'. The term future is relative and tomorrow's future is not necessarily today's.
