Dear Vanessa, Thank you for allowing me to take the ‘French for Sales Staff’

with Multi- Lingua

week. It was extremely useful and I learnt a lot, not only in terms of vocabulary and grammar, but

also

linguistic style. It was a great opportunity to swap experiences with sales staff from other companies and industries too. As I mentioned when I

first

asked to take the

course

, I think that one week of study is not going to be enough in order to make sure that my French is at the required level, so I would like to apply to take the advanced

course

which takes place from 20th to 25th February at the same location in Swindon. Since

this

course

finishes just before we begin the big sales push in France, I think that

this

would be perfect timing. We still have enough money in the budget to cover the cost of the

course

and I was able to handle my workload whilst taking the intermediate

course

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
