Some people think that people who choose a job early and keep doing it are more likely to get a satisfying career life than those who frequently change jobs. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

If asked whether hopping
jobs
or staying in the same
jobs
give a sense of satisfaction, many
people
struggle to make a final choice. In my opinion, while switching
jobs
has its own benefits, staying a
job
for a long time may provide
people
with a greater sense of fulfilment. There are some reasons why young
people
should change a
job
.
Firstly
, by switching a
job
, they can put the knowledge gained from the previous
job
into practice and gain the recognition at new working places .
In addition
, young
people
can acquire more skills and experience when they can try their hands into different fields.
Secondly
, by switching
jobs
and changing workplace, young
people
have a chance to find things that suit them best.
For example
, youngsters may hate desk
jobs
and want to seek more dynamic opportunities.
However
, remaining in a
job
for a long time appeals to young
people
. The
first
reason is that when a company need to promote or dismiss their employees, both dedication and experience are taken into consideration. If a person works for a company longer, he can have a chance to move up their career ladder and earning a more lucrative living. Another reason is that there are many perks that follow when
people
work for a long time, namely holiday entitlements and yearly bonuses. In conclusion,
although
job
-hopping may give
people
many chances, staying a
job
can help them to achieve other opportunities.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
