Some people think that it is necessary to travel to other places to learn about other cultures. Others say that books, films and the Internet can be used as a source of information about different cultures. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Different
people
have different views regarding travelling and learning about various
cultures
. Some see the necessity to
travel
while others feel that the
internet
source will be sufficient for learning various
cultures
. But for me travelling is the best option to learn about
cultures
. Travelling gives us the best
experience
ever. It gives us an opportunity to see and
experience
vast
cultures
and traditions directly. Different places have different
cultures
, languages, traditions. So, as we
travel
we will have the opportunity to
experience
them in life. What a person sees is well remembered than listening or reading. So those
people
tend to
travel
directly to learn about other
cultures
. As
people
travel
they not only have the chance to know various
cultures
but
also
to know various
people
they
travel
along.
On the other hand
, some feel that the
internet
or movies will be sufficient to know
cultures
. The
internet
source has a wide range of
information
about any place or culture which we need to know. It
also
provides us with images and videos that are more than enough to know about various
cultures
. Books
also
provide us with a lot of
information
that one can understand in simple terms. These sources help
people
to know the
information
they need without travelling, thereby making it simpler. One can simply sit near a desktop provided with the
internet
and learn the necessary
information
.
Finally
, my opinion is that travelling is the best option to learn about various
cultures
. Because it not only gives us life
experience
but
also
provides us with the chance to know our self-interests and brings out the courage in us. I feel that
people
should spare time for themselves in learning new
cultures
rather than simply reading books or looking through the
internet
.
