In some countries, owning a home rather than renting one is very important for people. Why might this be the case? Do you think this is a positive or negative situation?

Nowadays, with the rise in population, properties become more and more expensive. For some people, it is best to pay rent monthly. But for some others, having a
house
on their own is extremely important, especially in some Asian countries like Vietnam.
Firstly
, it is a mindset that you should have a safe place to live,
then
you can free your mind to do other businesses. For some youngsters who have good incomes, it is more worth saving a part of the money to pay the loan to earn a permanent
house
than give a certain amount every month to the placeholder.
This
house
can
also
be an investment for the
next
generations.
Secondly
, renting a
house
can cause uncertain problems
such
as higher rent fees over time, or conflict with the landlord. Big cities are the most places that have uncertain rent rates. With higher job opportunities, landlords are possible to catch higher income as they wish. It is not rare for suburban students who have moved out when the contract ends because they cannot afford the new fee, while the landlords can easily find a new tenant who is willing to pay higher.
Lastly
, I personally think it is a good idea to save up and have a home for yourself. There are many supports from the government and banks to help individuals who have a plan for the future. It gives your a strong purpose to work hard, and it is a stable long-term investment.
