In a number of countries, some people think it is necessary to spend large sums of money on constructing new railway lines for very fast trains between cities. Others believe the money should be spent on improving existing public transport. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Transportation
is necessary wherever you are located. Nowadays a lot of people go by walking or bicycle to their near destinations,

when distances are larger they must find a way to transport if they do not own a car. There are diverse views to decide on which type of public
transportation
should governments invest in, but the reality is that
this
could be influenced by the context of each country; mostly by its geography. On the one hand, there are individuals who support the idea of spending money on new railway lines, which seems to be positive for the
cities
that already count on trains, but those could be replaced for better ones in order to improve quality, velocity and technology.
For instance
, in Europe, there are neighbour countries
such
as France, Belgium or Germany where the train is a common and cheap option for

, including going from one country to another.
On the other hand
, there are others that disagree with the
last
view, but are fully convinced that money should be used to upgrade the existing public vehicles, which would be convenient for countries where the buses are not in good conditions;
for example
in Peru, its been years since the
last
float of public buses was renovated.
In addition
, there are places in the Peruvian territory that are not able to construct railways because of limitations on geography and space. As an example, authorities from Lima, the capital of
this
country, have been considering the construction of a subway, because trains do not match with the infrastructure of the city. In my opinion, I consider that both of the views are valid depending on the location. In some
