Government should spend money on railway rather than roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement

Nowadays, every
government
work hard for the safety of the citizens, to commute faster and secure travel for a solid
transportation
system
for trade facilities. Overall the question Aries whether the
government
should focus on improving railways rather than roads. In my point of view , I suggest that
government
should develop the
railway
system
.
First
of all, the
railway
offers a secured trip, even though through
road
. The number of
road
accidents is increasing day by day in many countries.
For example
, are far higher than
railway
accidents.
Thus
investing

safer and faster
transportation
is a much more prudent idea .
Moreover
, the
railway
can cause less environmental pollution comparatively while
road
vehicles are increasing pollution all around the world.
Secondly
,
Railway
can transport hundreds of people at the same time with tonnes of goods as well. Whereas,
road
transportation
is not built for that. Some shuttle trains are faster than private cars and busses.
Thus
, an improved
railway
system
can save the valuable time of citizens every day.
Thirdly
,
Railway
lines are far away from the cities, from that some areas ,people prefer busses rather than
Railway
.
Instead
,improving the
railway
system
can avoid colossal traffic.
For example
, Express trains can avoid the rush in many cities ,through metro lines where population density is high .
Finally
, the population of the world is increasing rapidly and that's why investing more money in faster and reliable
transportation
is more logical than investing in the old
transportation
system
. The
railway
will be the future in the
transportation
sector ,and investment in it is the better choice for any
government
. To put it in a nutshell, I believe that a
government
is either in a developed or developing country. Should invest to build a safer ,faster and more reliable
transportation
, for
this
reason, should get an obvious opportunity
