People living in big cities face several problems. What are these problems? Should governments encourage people to move to smaller town?
Issues related to living in big
cities
are frequently discussed these days. It is true that people living in urban areas are coping with many problems
. In this
essay, there are several causes and effects of these problems
and the explanation of governments
’ solutions will be discussed.
As for the first
question, there are various urban problems
happening in a town
. The principal and the essential problem are over-crowded in a town
. Overpopulation generally leads to serious problems
, including a shortage of resources and an unhealthy environment. Besides
, since insufficient spaces and services for residents. For instance
, workers staying in Bangkok have to use their private cars as public transports have insufficient spaces. As a result
, humans are facing exceeding toxic smog emitted from private cars.
Regarding the second
question, there are several steps associated with both individuals and governments
. In terms of individuals, they should be supported by governments
to stay in a smaller town
for decreasing population growth in the cities
. To explain, the most powerful tool for addressing urban problems
is the improvement of public transportations, such
as speed trains and buses in order to encourage most citizens to use. Moreover
, the development managed by governments
can contribute more opportunities, such
as jobs and education from cities
to rural areas. Hence
, it is unnecessary for villagers in order to seek jobs and stay in great cities
. To exemplify, due to the construction of train station, people can live at their home town
and do the job, such
as officer’s station. As a result
, residents living in the cities
have greatly decreased.
All things considered, I am of the opinion that today urban problems
are still happening although
there are some solutions to deal with these problems
. Therefore
, both individuals and governments
should share responsibilities and have an awareness of balancing between urban and rural areas.Submitted by musekusuma on
