The giving bar chart provides information about the habits of American people for eating fast
food
from 2003 to 2013. Overall, it appears that during the said period, most of the Americans had been drawn toward fast-
food
restaurants once a week or once or twice a month;
however
, they had shown the lowest preference for eating junk
food
every day, as well as, never having
this
meal. Regarding going to the chains one time in a week,
this
feature was the predominant choice of people in 2003 and 2006 by approximately 31% and 33%, respectively.
By contrast
, when it comes to 2013, US residents accounted for
this
habit by less than 27% and most of them (around 34%) went to fast
food
shops once or twice a month. In terms of the least attractive styles of eating out unhealthy
food
, Never and Everyday conceptions were the lowest categories in all three years, ranging from 30% to 4%. Consuming processed
food
several times a week was
also
selected by less than 20% in all years.
This
trend was joined by a few times a year, with an average of 14% during the period.
